The Red Wings hit the road again tonight to wrap up five-straight games away from Joe Louis Arena. This time it's the first game of a home-and-home with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Much is being made of Columbus fans "putting money on the board" for a Blue Jackets win tonight. As previously mentioned, the guys over at TPL are doing the same thing for twelve Wings games in February and March, so don't miss out on the chance to support a great cause.
As for the game itself... Jimmy Howard gets the start, as he will for all of the games remaining until the All-Star break. No one new is out, no one new is in. That leaves the injury situation as follows: Mike Modano, Pavel Datsyuk, Danny Cleary, Brad Stuart, Chris Osgood.
Jimmy should have gotten across. Ericsson maybe could have prevented the shot. Breakdown all around.
Well... I fall asleep and miss the first and wake up to this???? Should I go back to bed?
Jesus Christ, stay awake! Wings woke up when you did.
