We've got about as much of a "must-win" as possible without being an elimination game on our hands tonight. A Detroit win brings the Red Wings back home tied in the series and with home-ice restored. A loss and they need three wins in a row to stay alive.
Even after getting a supremely lucky call to save them from overtime, the Ducks are still complaining about how evil and dirty the Red Wings are. Yawn.
Anaheim will be without defenseman James Wisniewski. Brett Festerling takes his spot on the Ducks' blueline.
The Wings remain without Brian Rafalski and Kris Draper, who are pretty much gonna be cruxified if this season doesn't end well and it turns out their injuries weren't serious.
The game's on Versus after the 'Hawks and Canucks, which has just about no chance of ending before 10:30 so no one has any idea what will happen for those of us who don't give a damn about that series.
the politic's game of Randy Carlyle and his merry bunch of goon's is seriously getting old it's just a diversion from their dirty tactic's...we REALLY need to start strong tonight and play strong for the whole game obviously but especially the middle which has been a sore spot for the Wing's we should see a whole different bunch tonight i cannot watch but will be listening on 97.1 GO WINGS!!!

Just watched the highlights. Yeeeeesssss!!!!!!! That Franzen-Filppula-Hossa line is looking great, and if they can get the Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Creary line firing as well, it's sorted. Did the Wings actually play for the whole 60 minutes this time?
Played about 57 minutes. First minute had a stupidly bad defensive line change, a couple minutes around Niedermayer's goal were bad. Very solid overall.
And I am so tired this morning. I hate these West Coast games.
It was my almost-perfect world and the Wings played an almost-perfect game. I cannot wait for Game 5!
What the NHL may not understand (and Don Cherry certainly does not) is that when the Wings are playing "their game" it's magical. You don't have to be one of the "blood lusters" to enjoy the game. It's the kind of hockey that would bring more people to hockey (and don't ratings rise when the Wings are playing?)....Just my opinion.
i definitly woke up in a much better mood today than i did Wednesday morning what really gotta good laugh out of me was crybaby Carlyle's post game press conference in which he stated numerous way's that the Duck's beat themselves but not once could he bring himself to admit that they got outplayed bottomline....i think Babcock would have been man enough to admit it but then again the classier guy does roam the Detroit bench i am really hyped up for game 5 now to not the nerve's i had leading into game 4
Happy to see the Wings play such a great game! 
It's what they really needed and I'm happy to see they have that kind of pep.
