This pregame report is brought to you by hand-me down-snowblowers. Hand-me-down snowblowers, clearing my driveway since about 45 minutes ago.
Mike Babcock did his equivalent of tearing his team a new one in the press today. You're not gonna get any argument from me.
It looks like the Wings will use the same lineup they lost in Boston with, save for Chris Osgood getting the start. Hopefully that's not a pun.
Tomas Holmstrom and Chris Chelios practiced but will not return tonight, instead aiming for Thursday.
Anaheim's starting goalie is unknown. Jonas Hiller has filled in remarkably for Jean-Sebastien Giguere but faced a heavy workload last night in Raleigh. Giguere has been on the ice only once in the last week, having had to left the team to deal with a family issue.
You're f*cking kidding me. Saturday Kronner gets stripped of the puck in the corner, tonight Stuart loses it behind the net.
Jesus, the Wings just had some glorious chances. They've gotta convert on those. At least they get the PP now.
Moen with the cheap shot to end the period. Surprise.
After Huds hit the post, I was sure the Ducks would score before the end of the period.
Vastly outshooting the Ducks, but hardly any of those shots are coming from in the slot. And without Holmstrom, the shots from the point just seem too easy for Giguere.
Boooyaaa!!
Evening. Listening in on Red Wings radio in Ft Still, OK tonight.
Will be out here until 20 Dec
Might try to catch a Stars or a Ft. Worth Ice Bats game while I'm out here.
Uhm, why did the goalies get switched? =/ Giguere was doing a fine job in my opinion. >.>
(had the tv muted during intermission)
Hossa gets a goal 2 minutes in.
Is it my connection here or is anyone else getting their log-in bumped?
Anywho, I go to see the Wings in Dallas this Friday and the following weekend, I might go up to Oklahoma City to catch a few CHL games.
Ducks were very tired after playing last night, it showed. Wings played a good game but still could've lost it easily. Score was closer than it should've been, still got the win though. Cleary is focused, good to have him back after injury. Holmstrom and Chelios are coming back soon, Chelios thinking of going to Griffins for a few? Howe did play one game for the Vipers in the 90's so I don't think Chelios would be oldest to play.
