The Red Wings continue their Western Canada road trip Saturday night in Calgary but there are already lineup reports coming in for tomorrow night's game.
Khan says that the Wings will have Niklas Kronwall back in the lineup but that Tomas Holmstrom will remain out. Derek Meech will be shifted to forward to cover for the open roster spot on wing.
Tomas Kopecky remains on Detroit's top line, taking Holmstrom's spot alongside Pavel Datsyuk and Marian Hossa. Meech will skate with Kris Draper and Darren McCarty on the fourth line.
Ty Conklin gets the start.
Kopecky on the top line with Dats and Hossa should be interesting since he looked real good on the power play at Edmonton. Any word on when we can expect Cheli to rejoin the lineup?
I was just thinking about that earlier today. We've heard nothing about Cheli except that it's not going well. He was originally supposed to be out 4-6 weeks but we've hit the six week point with nothing.
Interesting. Apparently if a goalie dives on the puck but then slides into the no-play zone in the corner it's not illegal. Never knew that.
Maltby from Lilja. Sure we couldn't work Samuelsson or Lebda in on that to get all of the least-loved Wings in on one goal?
Real nice play.
I'm going to have a good holiday season. On 226 December, I go up to DC to see the Caps play. On the 27th we fly into Detroit and an the 30th we have seats behind the glass for the Hawks game. On New Years Eve, we take the Amtrak Wolverine to Chigago and on New Years Day we're going to the Winter Ice Classic. I'm entered in the drawing but either way I WILL get tickets to the game.
Congrats on the Winter Classic tickets. I'm in the contest and watching the resellers, not sure if I'm buying anything yet.
I you don't win the draw go to the Hawks website and check with ticket exchange. These are usually the best prices.
Not to stay too off-topic, but I thought TicketExchange couldn't have those tickets because the NHL hasn't officially made them available yet. Weird. I'd been watching StubHub. I see prices I like but it's not just up to me, I've got family in on this too.

Maybe your right but either way, I'll get tickets from the draw, ticketexchange, stubhub, or etc. I'm going to the game.

Ahh, got it. Thought you already had the tickets. I've been keeping a close eye on that stuff so it surprised the hell out of me.
Wings need to score on this power play, Calgary's gonna get some eveners soon.
Not this time but there was better presure on the PP. Kipper will keep the Flame in the game tonight.
You knew there'd either be a penalty or a goal the way the Wings were scrambling there. I'm glad it was a penalty.
That's why you shoot the puck! Two-goal lead, that never should have happened. There's the Lebda play I was asking about earlier.
You're kidding me. That was really bad. I let one in like that in my soccer game last night but I'm not paid to stop 'em.
That period felt like it lasted forever. Glad to see it over, Wings defense started loosening up a bit at the end there, feels like they could use the intermission.
Holy hell, how many ways can you miss on one shift?
It looked like the Wings were on a PP. I loved the staredown between Lidsy and Kipper. Too bad it didn't go in.
Bad tripping call. Also can't believe interference wasn't called on Regher a couple shifts ago.
Eveners

Eveners
It was already even at that point, each team had three power plays. Calgary got their fourth and scored on it.
Of course, I hate the idea of eveners anyway. I'm always screaming for consistency.
