Another strong game from the Red Wings. They did a great job of not getting frustrated early and just wore down the Coyotes. After Maltby's second goal gave Detroit the lead late in the second, I don't think Phoenix had any chance of coming back.
The Coyotes just don't strike me as a mentally tough team. At no point in the third did they threaten to come back. Either the Red Wings really are that much better or the Coyotes gave up.
Nice job by Hudler to jump up and bang in the loose puck. I was geting frustrated with the passing on the power play but they knew what they were doing.

Everyone on the ice was in on the Maltby goal. Good work winning the fights to get the puck up to Chelios and a great blast by him with a perfect tip from Malts. Ellis with the screen in front.
